Programmable Switch Interface Converts from a Simple Wall Switch to an IR Link.
Switches or Dry Contacts are easy way to launch a command onto the RP Bus resulting in moving a motorized window treatment system either open or closed. A PSI24 converts that simple "source of a button press" into a more powerful RP BUS command.
The application of a bus command is more powerful than a single switch input. For example, a group operation of shades, using a command to position a group of shades at an intermediate stop, or even an ALL command without needinig to connect all of those little wires.
All variations of switches can be converted into an RP BUS command with a PSI24. Those variations are: SPDT maintained, SPDT momentary, SPST maintained, SPST momentary.
All variations of a Dry Contact can be converted into an RP bus command. Those variations are: Two relays set up as SPDT momentary - normally open - with a .5 second duration, or two relays set up as SPDT maintained latching - normally closed and interlocked to not send a command at the same time, or a single relay (SPST) momentary, or a single relay maintained.
The PSI24 can act as an IR to RF converter by having an IR Eye in the EYE jack and an RFTM in the Bus jack.
